Cavalleria Rusticana & Pagliacci

Release of the operas "Cavalleria Rusticana" and "Pagliacci".

Over 5,000 people attended one of the most exciting events of the year. The voice of Andrea Bocelli mingled with the fragrances of newly harvested wheat and a light evening breeze, along with the voice of the soprano Paola Sanguinetti and the baritone Gianfranco Montresor. Bocelli was accompanied by the Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana di Piacenza and the Società Corale Pisana, conducted by maestro Marcello Rota.

"E dopo è tornato... il Silenzio"

Andrea Bocelli dedicated the concert to his father Sandro, the "great absentee", and to others who are no longer alive but played an important role in his career and the growth of Lajatico.

The concert ended with a spectacular firework display behind the Teatro del Silenzio, accompanied by Bocelli’s voice in the background.
