The tenor between the 5 nominees with “Cinema”.

One additional international recognition for Andrea Bocelli, the most beloved Italian tenor in the world, who obtains a Grammy Awards nomination for the “Best traditional pop vocal album”, with his latest
album “Cinema”, produced by Sugar. Sugar thank Maestro Bocelli, Veronica Berti Bocelli per Almud and the three producers David Foster, Tony Renis and Humberto Gatica for their extraordinary creative contribution.

A prestigious candidacy (the fifth on his career), which sees the tenor alongside other outstanding nominees like Bob Dylan, Barbra Streisand, Josh Groban and Willie Nelson and that confirms Bocelli as the esteemed flagship of Italy in the world.

“America loved me from the beginning.

I remember, with a bit of emotion, what my father used to say to me:
You must go to America. And he was right. – says Bocelli – The display of affection from people in the streets,  the roaring applause in the theatres and the venues where I had the pleasure to perform, the handshake of so many common people, the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, these things give me the strength to move forward.

Now, the news of the American Grammy nomination, which seals a relationship of deep affection between me and this great nation, whom I thank from the bottom of my heart.”
